During the pandemic I started thinking about life, germs, pathogens, seen and unseen. This one is an aerial view.

Terra Incognita- unknown or unexplored territory. "the traveler is moving now through terra incognita"

When I was a child my father bought me a microscope and we walked down to the local pond where he put pond water and little green algae on the little glass slides. As I peered into the lens, a mysterious new world was opened up to me! My work in in these pieces represents my rediscovery of the hidden worlds I found by the water’s edge so many years ago.

This piece is framed in a natural wood.
I used Ink, Acrylics and markers to recreate the images in my memory.

They will be crated or boxed.
